Local restaurant vandalized again, $36K in damage

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis restaurant was targeted again by vandals, marking it the second time the business was damaged in just a few months.

Officers responded to a vandalism call at 12:40 a.m. on Sunday at Hill Boyz Wing and Burger Bar on 3711 Lamar Avenue.

On the scene, they saw the windows of the business were broken, and a white Nissan NV200 van was parked in front and appeared to have broken windows as well.

The owner made the scene and told police that just before 12:40 a.m., they received a notification that the alarm was going off and observed two men on surveillance cameras.

One man was wearing a blue hoodie and red pants, and the other was wearing all dark colored clothing. They broke the windows of the business and the business vehicle parked out front of the store.

She said that the approximate amount of damage to the business was $36,000.

Nothing was taken from the business, and the suspects never made entry into the business, according to police.

This comes a few months after the local restaurant was vandalized back in December of 2024.

This is an ongoing investigation.
