Pope Leo takes delivery of Club Car vehicles
Global Edition

Club Car has delivered two custom-built electric cars to Pope Leo XIV to aid the recently appointed pontiff on his international visits.
The vehicles, developed by Garia, a subsidiary of Club Car, in collaboration with Italian distributor Exelentia and the Gendarmerie Corps of Vatican City State, will assist Pope Leo on international trips.
Drawing on Garia’s manufacturing expertise and innovation, the cars were designed to ensure maximum efficiency, agility and security for Pope Leo. Engineered for global mobility, the vehicles can be transported on long-haul flights without being dismantled.

Marco Natale, Club Car Vice President EMEA, presented Pope Leo with the vehicles at Pontifical Villas in Castel Gandolfo in Rome, which has served as a papal summer holiday residence for centuries.
“We are deeply honoured to have provided our electric vehicles for His Holiness,” said Natale. “It’s a proud moment that reflects the commitment of the Club Car group to sustainable innovation and thoughtful design at the highest level.”
