Advance Media New York announced it has hired Vince Gasparini as a reporter on the breaking news team for Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard. He covers breaking news, crime and public safety, and human-interest stories.

He graduated in May from the University at Albany, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and journalism. During his time as an undergrad, he wrote and edited for his student newspaper, the Albany Student Press, and also completed internships with United University Professions, The Buffalo News and New York StateWatch.
He grew up in Fabius.
