Bedford High School Boys’ Tennis Advances to the State Championship

The Bedford High School boys tennis team, ranked #1 in MIAA Division 3 is advancing to the state championship match after a 4-1 win over the #13 seed Boston Latin Academy on Thursday afternoon at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School.

The finals will be a rematch from last year. Bedford will take on rival Weston the 7-time defending state champion edged Bedford 3-2 in the State Championship last year. Bedford bested Weston 3-2 earlier this season – the Bucs boys tennis first win over the Wildcats in a decade.

The match is currently scheduled to be played at DuPont Tennis Courts at MIT at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
