Wantage tennis coach completes 25-hour charity walk

Andy Aitken, who coaches at Wantage Tennis Club, completed the overnight challenge on Friday, June 13, arriving at Letcombe Tennis Club at 8am before finishing at Wantage Tennis Club for a 9am coaching session.

The walk was supported by The Tim Henman Foundation and aimed to raise funds and awareness for inclusive sport and tennis.

He was joined at Letcombe Tennis Club by former Fitzwaryn School students from his long standing Saturday group.

The tennis club said: “Andy’s achievement is unbelievable but the greatest credit goes to him for supporting such a deserving cause.”
