The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 trophy is a piece of art and technology. Designed by FIFA in collaboration with Tiffany & Co, this unique award hides a state-of-the-art watchmaking mechanism, capable of transforming its shape in a hypnotic way.

The trophy’s design is inspired by the gold discs of the Voyager spacecraft, the periodic table and astronomy. The three outer rings, engraved with football illustrations and the names of the FIFA’s 211 member associations, can rotate and unfold into a spherical shape via a mechanism that is activated with a special key

“I had never seen anything like it,” said former US President Donald Trump after witnessing the demonstration of the trophy at the White House by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The cover, made of gold vermeil and laser-engraved, depicts scenes of footballers, fans and historical elements of the beautiful game. The central disc, which serves as a stable base, contains inscriptions in 13 languages –including Latin, classical Greek, Hindi and Braille– in a clear effort to represent the diversity of global football

“Our aim was to create the symbol of the new era that will begin with the world’s most inclusive club competition, which will be based on sporting merit. To this end, a bold and daring design and format was combined with the timeless prestige of gold,” said Infantino.

During his visit to the White House in March, Infantino personally thanked Trump for the creation of a special task force that will coordinate preparations for the 2025 Club World Cup and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

At that meeting, Trump not only signed a key executive order for both tournaments, but was also fascinated by the trophy that will be awarded to the champion on July 13 in New York.
